Sea Day--our last full cruising day.

Saturday, December 16, 2017
This is our last full day on the ship...
Don and I got up early to get a glimpse of Cuba... We saw the most wonderful sunrise over Cuba!

We ate breakfast then to the Lido Pool for rest and relaxation!  We also ate by the pool!

That afternoon, we went to the main stage to see Island Magic again!

Dinner was in the main dining room.  They did the chiefs parade!
No show tonight, back to room for rest and get luggage out.
Our last towel animal.... a hanging monkey.  Tomorrow we get off the ship!

George Town, Grand Cayman

Friday, December 15, 2017
Instead of going to Costa Rica,  we went to Grand Cayman.  This is a tender port so we got on the "life boats" to tender to shore.  We mostly shopped and ate lunch here as we did not feel like doing a tour.
We ate lunch at Sharky's  and had jerk chicken sandwich, fries, and "Caybrew" beer.  We had a view of the ocean and ships from out lunch spot.  We bought t-shirts and caps, Key rings, t-shirt for Katelyn, Rum Cake, and coffee.  We ended up at Jimmy Buffets Marguataville for another caybrew and watched a limbo dancer.  We saw and iguana in the bar just walking around.
 Views around town.

 Views from our lunch spot.

Views of town from our ship.

Since we had such a busy day, we retired to our room for Movie Night after Dinner.

Sea Day (instead of Costa Rica)

Thursday, December 14, 2017

What should have been a fun day in Costa Rica turned into another sea day.  The swells were too high to dock at the unprotected port there.  The seas were a bit on the rocky side and it did rain on and off.
We did yoga and walked around ship.  We also went to a American's test kitchen demonstration of Salad for Dinner.

It was a gala night so we got all dressed up for dinner in the main dining room.  It was surf and turf night.

These are some of the Christmas decorations they put out on the ship this week.

These are a couple of bar tenders we got friendly with.
All dressed up for dinner!!  We clean up Good!!!

After our delicious dinner, we went to a show on the main stage called Off the Charts with the ships singers and dancers.
A night cap in the Ocean bar rounded out the day.
